The Zimbabwe Cricket Board has accepted an invitation from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to participate in a T20 tri-nation series involving Pakistan, Zimbabwe, and Sri Lanka, scheduled for November.

According to the PCB, the three-nation series will run from November 17 to 29, 2025, with matches hosted in Rawalpindi and Lahore. The tournament kicks off with an opening clash between Pakistan and Zimbabwe on November 17 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The second match, pitting Sri Lanka against Zimbabwe, is set for November 19, also in Rawalpindi. Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host the remaining five matches, including the final, ensuring a thrilling conclusion to the competition.

It is worth noting that the Afghanistan Cricket Board had previously announced its withdrawal from the tri-series hosted in Pakistan. Following this development, the PCB reached out to the Zimbabwe Cricket Board, whose prompt acceptance ensures the event proceeds as planned.

This maiden tri-series on Pakistani soil is designed to provide crucial preparation for all three teams ahead of the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. Cricket enthusiasts are buzzing with anticipation for the high-stakes international action returning to Pakistan
