Lahore: Pakistan Super League (PSL) stakeholders, including franchise representatives and PCB/ PSL officials, held a virtual meeting to discuss key aspects of the league’s future.
According to PCB details, the session focused on franchise valuation, with PSL CEO Salman Naseer briefing on current assessments. They also consulted on the PSL 11 event window for 2026, player acquisition systems, and potential changes to the tournament format.
The meeting was part of ongoing efforts to enhance the league’s commercial and operational framework. Follow-up sessions are scheduled later this week to address cricketing matters like drafts, venues, and scheduling.
This comes ahead of the league’s expansion to eight teams from 2026, with auctions for two new franchises planned soon.
