The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stated that he has not received any official resignation from Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. He added that he will take action in accordance with the law once the resignation is submitted.
In a statement, Faisal Karim Kundi remarked that the news regarding the receipt of Ali Amin Gandapur’s resignation is fake news. He further noted that the opposition leader is the only one who can nominate the opposition’s candidate for Chief Minister
On the other hand, PTI Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram claimed that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s resignation has been received at the Governor’s House. He stated that the resignation was sent after coordination with the Governor’s MS (Medical Superintendent).
He asserted that the Governor House staff received the resignation at around 11 PM last night.
