Pakistan is preparing to host its biggest technology event of the year. The 26th edition of ITCN Asia will be held in Karachi from September 23 to 25. The exhibition is being organised by E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan with the support of the Ministry of IT & Telecom and the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
Federal Minister for IT & Telecom, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, will inaugurate the three-day exhibition. The event is expected to attract huge participation from both local and global stakeholders.
Organisers say the exhibition is more than a showcase. It is an opportunity to push Pakistan’s digital transformation. According to Group Director of E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan, Muhammad Umair Nizam, “Pakistan’s IT sector is not just an industry but an engine of economic transformation.”
He said the IT industry is creating jobs for young people. It is also increasing exports and attracting global investors. With initiatives such as Tech Destination Pakistan, the exhibition aims to highlight Pakistan as a rising technology hub.
The event will bring together more than 50,000 participants. These include IT leaders, startups, investors, policymakers, and diplomats. Delegations from over 25 countries are expected to attend.
More than 700 exhibitors will display the latest products and services. At least 100 foreign delegates will participate in discussions on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, fintech, cloud computing, and 5G technologies.

The SIFC is playing a central role in supporting the exhibition. Its backing is seen as a signal of strong government commitment to the tech ecosystem. Industry experts believe this support will help attract more investment and strengthen confidence among international partners.
Pakistan’s IT sector has been expanding rapidly. Exports of software and IT-enabled services are growing every year. Technology companies are creating jobs for thousands of young professionals.
