Iran has executed another individual accused of spying for Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency.
According to Iran’s official news agency Mizan, judicial authorities revealed that the executed person was affiliated with Mossad and had been providing Iran’s confidential information to Israel.
Arab media, citing Prosecutor Kazem Mousavi, reported that the convict was in contact with the Zionist regime’s secret services and had met with Mossad officers.
Authorities stated that timely actions by intelligence and other agencies led to the spy’s identification, preventing the disclosure of further sensitive information.
Mossad maintains an effective intelligence network in Iran and several regional countries, allegedly hiring locals for operations. Iran has executed multiple Israeli spies to date, including one sentenced to death last month.
The execution, carried out in Qom on October 18, marks the latest in a series of at least ten such cases since the June 2025 conflict between Iran and Israel, underscoring Tehran’s intensified crackdown on alleged espionage amid escalating tensions.
