Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated that illegal immigration will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Lahore Airport, accompanied by Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain.

Amid tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Russia has offered to mediate.

The Interior Minister observed the immigration process at the airport, expressed displeasure over the rush at immigration counters, and issued directives to expedite the immigration process.

Both ministers interacted with passengers traveling abroad regarding the immigration process, while Federal Minister Salik Hussain checked protector stickers on travel documents.

On the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that no passenger will be allowed to travel without necessary documents, adding that illegal immigration will not be tolerated at any cost.

He said that no passenger causing disrepute to the country will be allowed to travel, and strict action will be taken against any involved officials from FIA or any other agency.

Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that authentic verification of passengers’ employment-related documents must be ensured in all cases.
