DG ISPR holds special session with Jamia Urwatul Wusqa students

Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, held a special session with students and scholars at Jamia Urwatul Wusqa in Lahore.
The session aimed to strengthen understanding of national values and the role of the armed forces. Principal Syed Jawad Naqvi said that awakening national consciousness is crucial for the education of the new generation. He added that students should learn the importance of responsibility, patriotism, and service to the nation.
During the session, students expressed their appreciation for the Pakistani Armed Forces. They particularly highlighted the army’s role in the historic Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos. Students said they felt proud of the sacrifices and achievements of the military.
The students also welcomed the DG ISPR’s open and transparent approach. He answered their questions clearly and calmly. Many students said his responses helped remove confusion and doubts caused by negative propaganda on social media. They said the discussion encouraged them to think critically and form informed opinions.
The session also reinforced the connection between the nation and its armed forces. Students emphasized that the Pakistan Army represents national honor and pride. They said all citizens, including religious schools and communities, continue to support the army and stand united with it in every challenge.
