Pakistani batter Mehreen Ali has set a world record in blind women’s cricket.In the opening match of the event that kicked off in Colombo, the Pakistan Blind Women’s Team scored 331 runs without losing a wicket against Sri Lanka.

Pakistani batter Mehreen Ali smashed 230 runs off 78 balls against Sri Lanka in blind women’s cricket to establish a world record. In reply, the Sri Lankan women’s team was bundled out for 120 runs, thus Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 221 runs.

From the national team, Pakistan’s Noor Fatima, Hooriya Malik, and Samira Malik showcased excellent bowling by claiming one wicket each.

On the occasion, Mehreen Ali said that she thanks Allah Almighty for setting the record and dedicates this record to Pakistan and her parents. She also thanked the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council and her parents for giving her the opportunity.
