In the Asia Padel Cup qualifying round held in Doha, Pakistan’s men’s team gained a commanding lead over China by winning the first two games of the tie.

In the first set, the Pakistani pair of Abdullah Adnan and Mohammad Salar clinched victory against their Chinese counterparts with a scoreline of 6-7(1), 6-4.

The second set saw Pakistan’s Mohammad Kamil and Ashish Kumar triumph with a score of 7-5, 4-6, 6-1. With these two wins in the three-game match, Pakistan secured a decisive victory in the tie.

On the other hand, in the women’s qualifying round, Saudi Arabia defeated Pakistan 3-0, marking the second consecutive loss for the Pakistan women’s team. In their first match, the Pakistan women’s team was defeated by the UAE.
