Islamabad: The Pakistan hockey team has qualified for the World Cup qualifying round with a commanding performance.

The national team secured an emphatic 8-0 victory over Bangladesh in the second match, further solidifying their series lead.

Sufyan Khan and Rana Waheed starred with two goals each, while Rana Waleed, Imad Butt, Hanan Shahid, and Afraz Khan contributed one goal apiece to make the win even more convincing. Pakistan maintained pressure from the start, adopting an aggressive strategy that left Bangladesh with no chance to recover. In the first match of the series, Pakistan had already triumphed 8-2, boosting team morale significantly.

With back-to-back dominant wins, the squad is brimming with confidence and determined to excel in the World Cup qualifiers. The third and final match of the series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played on November 16, where the national team aims for a clean sweep.
