Mosques in Gaza are starting to come alive again after two years of devastation, with large crowds of worshippers offering Friday prayers in one of the Strip’s centuries-old mosques in central Gaza.
According to foreign media reports, even in Khan Yunis, a mosque destroyed by Israeli bombing hosted a Friday prayer congregation, where numerous citizens stood amid the debris to perform their worship.
Worshippers stated that praying on the rubble serves as proof that the people of Gaza will never relinquish their land or faith, no matter how dire the circumstances.
On the other hand, Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement. In a recent airstrike, a vehicle was targeted, resulting in the martyrdom of 11 members of the same family.
Sources indicate that among the martyrs were seven children and three women, who were returning to the Al-Zaytoun area of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Hamas has condemned the Israeli attack as a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement mediated in Egypt, accusing Israel of deliberately targeting civilians.
Hamas has called on the mediating countries to ensure the implementation of all clauses of the agreement.
