Lahore: Google has announced that it will provide a free one-year AI Pro Plan subscription to students aged 18 and above in Pakistan and other Asia-Pacific countries.
According to a foreign news agency, the initiative aims to promote education, research, and creativity by granting students access to advanced AI tools. The AI Pro Plan will include features powered by the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, enabling deep research and advanced functionalities.
Students will benefit from AI assistance across Google apps, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet, allowing for more effective email summarization, presentation creation, and data analysis.
The announcement also highlighted that NotebookLM will support personalized research and writing. Additionally, students will gain access to cutting-edge tools for creating content from videos and images, including features like Veo 3 and Flow in Gemini.
Google will also provide 2TB of free cloud storage, offering ample space for students to securely store files, notes, and projects.
